Finally stepping away from the birds.
I’ve been going in alphabetical order by city, and I’ve finally gotten to my first team that isn’t bird-related. To be fair, I don’t know what a “bill” is, but it probably isn’t a bird. The only thing I know for sure is that there’s a football team named after it, so I have to make a post about it.
Some disclaimers:
- There are no ties in my predictions. I hate ties.
- Each person can only win one award. I don’t want Chase Young winning three awards when I get to the Redskins.
With that said, let’s get to the Bills season!

Best Win
The Bills have two wins that could qualify as statement wins: Week 9 against the Seahawks and Week 15 against the Broncos. I’m gonna go with their Week 9 victory against the Seahawks. The Seahawks are still one of the best teams in the NFC, and Russell Wilson makes any team a threat to win a game. The Bills are gonna be able to defend their home turf, and this win should springboard a win streak.
Worst Loss
This Bills team isn’t going to be great this year, but there will be one loss that they won’t be able to defend, at all. They’ll lose in Week 3 against the Rams at home. The Rams look like a team that’s going to be terrible next year. They overpaid their QB, and the only real star on their team is Aaron Donald. In this game, though, the Rams do just enough to defeat the Bills in Buffalo.
Season Outlook
The Bills are gonna have a solid year, but it’s mainly because the division is so bad. The Bills are far and away the best team in their division, but it won’t be because of their QB. I don’t think Josh Allen is the real deal, but I think this team is incredibly talented. The defense is gonna be outstanding, and the run game is also going to be great. They’ll finish 9-7, which’ll be enough to get them into the playoffs, but they might be caught in a bad situation at QB.
Team MVP
There is a player on this team that I think will be the best player in the league at their position: Tre’Davious White. Tre White is an up-and-coming CB, and I still think that we haven’t seen White’s true ceiling. This year, all eyes are gonna be on the Bills, and I think he’ll respond to the bright lights. He’s incredibly athletic, and he’ll burst onto the scene as the best CB in football.
Offensive Player of the Year
I know that there’s going to be a lot of people clamoring for Diggs or Josh Allen. However, I think that the Bills’ passing game isn’t going to be that good. They’re gonna have to rely on the run game, so Devin Singletary will be their best offensive player. I think Singletary is going to be another great young running back. He’s going to be the main force of this Bills offense, and he’ll make a lot of people mad about passing on him. Dude’s a stud.
Defensive Player of the Year
The Bills were on the other end of the Patrick Mahomes trade, which I’ll talk about in a different post. However, they didn’t lose that trade, because they got some studs in return. One of them was Tre White, and the other player is the winner of this award: Tremaine Edmunds. Another player who is on the track to be one of the best at his position, Edmunds has been a force for the Bills in his young career. He’ll be a cornerstone of this defense for a long while.
Rookie of the Year
I talked about how important the run game would be for the Bills. Because of this, the run game is gonna need more than one good RB. I think Zack Moss is gonna be one of the better backs from this draft class, and he’ll be the Bills’ best rookie. They didn’t have a first round pick, so the class doesn’t have a true blue-chip prospect. However, they got Moss in the 3rd round, and he’s going to be their second 3rd round RB steal in a row.
